Hi, I’ve just recently purchased Cubasis 3 for my Ipad 5th Generation. However, despite connecting it via a working lightning to USB adapter (which does recognise any other usb device that’s plugged in to it) and the interface usb indicator being lit, I can get no audio signal into a track from either of the ports (the interface is being powered separately) into which are plugged a mic and a guitar. Am i missing something in a setting on the Ipad?
Hi @Biff,
Thank you for your message and welcome to the Cubasis forum!
Please have a look at our Getting started with Cubasis tutorial, which also includes a dedicated chapter about audio routing.
Alongside, please make sure, Cubasis has access to the mic:
Starting Cubasis the very first time, a popup asking your permission to use the microphone appears, which has to be accepted.
If you tapped “no” by accident, please change the setting manually as follws:
- Please go to the iPad settings
- There please go to Privacy / Microphone
- Please make sure to enable Microphone use with Cubasis.
Please let me know if this helps to solve the problem.
Best,
Lars
