No sound after connecting/disconnecting Apple Studio Display

Hi, does any one experience a similar problem? As soon as I connect my Macbook Pro to Studio Display while Dorico is in use (sometimes I need to go to other instrument and come back), Dorico works but doesn’t play back. If I restart, reload playback template (no sure what helps, because it helps not always) Dorico plays through Studio Display speakers again. As soon as I disconnect it, Dorico loses a sound again. -no playback through the speakers of my MacBook Pro. No mater what I choose in Audio settings - every audio programs plays back perfectly except Dorico. Cannot understand what is here going on…

Dorico’s audio engine does not follow automatically the system settings. Because of the Cubase inheritance it uses ASIO and a bridging component to mediate to the CoreAudio subsystem of MacOS, so it is difficult to marry them as they are conceptually different.
But you say that at some stage you don’t get any output at all from Dorico, no matter what you do. Now, this interests me. I’ll send you a private message, please check.
