No sound after dragging wav down to open a new track

Hi,

Happens sometimes when I’m dragging a wave down (for eg a vocal track) to automatically open a new track. Then when I press play, the meters are moving but there is no sound. I need to restart Cubase 10.5.12 in order to have sound again.

I am on Windows 10.

Could you double-check the routing, when it happens, please? What is the output of the track in this case?
