No sound from Halion 7

Hi all!

I’m using Cubase 13 pro and get no sound from the sampler.

It receive midi signals but no sound from master output.

Please see attached screen and tell me what’s wrong.

Hi,
can you upload a screenshot showing the routing of your instrument track in the inspector?
Also, make sure that you load an instrument preset that you own (you might have accidently loaded a preset without the required license).
Do you hear a sound if you play the internal piano roll? In that case change your tracks MIDI input to “All Inputs” in the inspector.

None of the piano keyboard keys is white i.e. anything you hit will not trigger a note. Something isn’t loaded correctly.

Maybe the samples are not mapped?

Hi,

thank u for reply.

Here is the the screenshot of the inspector.

Hi,

As you can see on the first screenshot, samples are mapped.

Sure! cause I have it functioning in stand-alone mode

And the license is activated.

See, if I map a sample, the keyboard at the bottom will show white keys instead of grey ones.

Furthermore the Low Key and High Kkey settings in the Mapping are red. I don’t know how to achieve that but maybe the file of the sample could not be loaded? Check in the Program browser.

Your program table might show a program but it is not loaded and thus your slot rack is empty (I reproduced it, see screenshot above). Have a look at the The “Ghostbuster Sign” at the top - piano roll corrobates that there’s nothing to play with as others pointed out

Please, follow my first advice and try another program.
