don’t get me wrong but sometimes it’s much faster to watch a couple of beginner tutorials first to get a general understanding of Cubase.
Steinberg made a couple of tutorials
and there’s also excellent content on Youtube e.g. Chris Selim, One Man And His Songs or Dom Sigalas to name a few. This is usually a good starting point - the manual is for very specific questions. Nothing you want to read from A-Z if you are new to Cubase 
Nonetheless, feel free to ask away in the forum as well!
