No sound in cubase when using UR44 drivers

I just got the UR44 and installed the “TOOLS for UR44 V2.1.1 for Windows”. I get no sound in Cubase 8 Pro if I select “Yamaha Steinberg USB ASIO” but my speakers are working fine outside of Cubase. If I switch back to generic ASIO drivers I get sound in Cubase again.

I’m running Windows 8.1

After selecting the Yamaha USB driver in Cubase, go to the VST connections panel and see if you can set up in and output busses on your audio interface there.
