No Sound in VST Live 2 v2.2.87.518 Despite Meter Activity

Has anyone experienced an issue in VST Live 2 version 2.2.87.518 where a Song produces no sound even though the settings are exactly the same as other Songs and the meters are moving normally?

In my case, the Song appears to be in an identical state compared to others, and audio meters are active, but no sound is output.

I would appreciate it if anyone could share whether they have encountered a similar issue or found a solution.

Hmmm, can you take a Photo/screenshot about a “sound-ok” song and about a “no-sound” song and paste it here? (Showing Which one is what)

Thank you, fkalmus.

I will attach the screenshots here.

screenshot1 and screenshot1-1 are from different Songs, but they show the same section in VST Live 2.
Likewise:

  • screenshot2 is the same as screenshot2-2

  • screenshot3 is the same as screenshot3-3

  • screenshot4 is the same as screenshot4-4

screenshot4-Mix shows the mixer view.

As you can see by comparing screenshot1 and screenshot1-1, the meters are moving in both cases.
However, only screenshot1 produces no sound, even though the meter activity is present.

Thank you, fkalmus.

Additional Information

This issue seems to occur when multiple Songs are loaded at startup in VST Live 2, and audio files are loaded directly from the desktop into a track of a specific Song.

When this happens, it is not predictable which Song among the loaded ones will lose audio output.
The affected Song shows normal meter activity, but no sound is audible.

For reference, I am using a Steinberg UR44C and dspMixFx.

Hi @touchup1954
Yepp, checked your pictures and got confused a bit, Meanwhile couldn’t see the reason. No idea

We all load tonns of songs at startup, that can’t be a problem.
