Hi WaveLab users,
I’ve recently returned to WaveLab after a bit of a break from audio recording (of around 15 years!).
WaveLab Pro 12 is installed on my 2019 MacBook Pro running Sequoia 15.7.1 connected to an Arturia AudioFuse 16Rig, but there is zero sound coming in to WaveLab when I try to record from the 16Rig’s front inputs.
Looking at the AudioFuse ‘matrix’ sound is coming in from the analogue sources input 1 and 2 (across the top) and are being mapped to USB destinations (down the left) to USB 1 and 2. I can send directly to the monitors, so I know 100% the sound is coming through the 16Rig.
In WaveLab I’ve set audio ins to ‘1 [Front/Rear in 1] Stereo’, which should auto-select the two inputs in the front of the 16Rig.
When I go to record, nothing happens with the meters and no sound gets recorded, there is clearly no audio coming in to WaveLab.
I do know the 16Rig is bringing sound into the Mac, because I can select the 16Rig in QuickTime and can see the audio is there (though QT records in mono so I don’t want to use that, plus I should really be able to do this in WaveLab).
Screenshots attached showing the AudioFuse matrix, and the selected inputs in WaveLab. Obviously I’ve tried lots of other inputs, configs in the matrix, and it appears only WaveLab refuses to accept the audio in, which is frustrating.
Any other 16Rig users that might be able to offer some set up advice?
UPDATE: Plugged in a Scarlett 6i6 and WaveLab refuses to record anything from this, too, so either it’s a skill issue on my side, or WaveLab isn’t doing what it’s designed to do, in which case, I’m not sure how to fix it!
Thanks in advance. ![]()
