On a new laptop, I don’t have any sound in Dorico. I’ve followed the pertinent instructional threads (I think ), but no joy. Paging @Ulf !

I have only one option in the ASIO dropdown, and the Stereo Output dropdown is blank.

is there also 44.1kHz available in the dropdownlist for the sample rate?
Also, on the taskbar is the speaker icon, right click on that and choose ‘Sound Settings’. There choose ‘Device Properties’ for the Realtek, scroll down and then ‘Additional Device Properties’. A new little window opens where you choose the ‘Advanced’ tab. What are the settings in there? Is the option ‘Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device’ ticked? If so, untick it and try again in Dorico after a relaunch.

Unchecking that exclusive control option in Advanced Properties did the trick.
