Still cannot get any sound to playback.

Today I opened up Dorico and had no sound. On a M1 mac I found that in audio settings Dorico had laptop mic for input but had no outs assigned, so assigning to internal speakers or headphones fixed the problem. But have no idea what system you are working or if this problem was at all similar. Good luck.
