I am using a Focusrite Claret 2 with Cubase . I always check the control room connections as they do not always connect. however, even when it appears correct and the meters are showing sound, I get no sound. If I reboot the computer, it then works. Is the problem with Cubase or there interface and, if it is Cubase12, how do I correct it.?

To me it sounds like driver issue. I would try to reinstall the driver as administrator.
