No sound since the latest update

Hi Ulf Since the latest Windows 11 update, or the latest Dorico update, the sound no longer works and it is impossible to configure any VSTs. In addition, when closing Dorico, it will not open again. When I open the Windows Task Manager, I can see that Dorico is still running, along with the VST Audio Engine, which is using 795 MB of memory.
Could there be a possible solution? I’m sending the diagnostic report. Thanks.

Hi @JPGilles , there are plenty of crash dump files contained, I need to take a look but am currently not on my developer machine with the debugging tools.
Will take a look later, please be patient. Thanks

Hi Ulf,
Thank you for your reply, but there is no urgency. In the meantime, I will continue trying to find the cause. I remain patient.

Hi @JPGilles , the freezedumps suggest that your Dorico has problems connecting MIDI ports. And it seems that your only MIDI device is a MIDISPORT Uno, is that correct? What if you unplug the MIDISPORT, do you still get the same kind of behaviour?

Hi Ulf,

I reinstalled the Midisport Uno drivers, then restarted Windows 11, and everything is now working as expected.

Thank you very much for your quick reply, which solved the problem. Congratulations on your work on this wonderful program.

All the best.
