I recently purchased dorico pro 2 a couple of days ago for my macbookpro (runs high sierra). There isn’t any sound when i enter notes in with my midi keyboard or comp keyboard, or when i hit play on the playback…what step am i missing?

So you don’t get any sound at all, right. Would you please create in Dorico a simple piano project with just a handful of arbitrary notes, then choose from the main menu ‘Help > Create Diagnostic Report’. That will create a zip file on your desktop. Please post here or send to ‘u dot stoermer at steinberg dot de’. Thanks
