No Sound when "Playback"

Hi, I’m really stumped. Just got set up with Elements 10.5.12, running Windows 10.
When I record and then play back to listen, NO SOUND.
When I open “Sample Editor” and play the track, I have sound!
When I use the little speaker icon, and hold it over the track and play
I have sound!
When I just play back what I’ve recorded, NO SOUND!
Please help…

Could you please attach a screenshot of your Audio Connections > Outputs and Audio Connections > Control Room?

Make sure tha Audio track is routed to the correct (or any at all) output.

Also…
The audio track “Monitor” function is enabled to hear during recording. Then the audio track “Monitor” function needs to be disabled during playback.
