Hi everyone, I’m having some issues with cubase 8.5. I can not seem to get any sound when importing a file/samples into a audio track, however once a file has been imported into a project i have sound but however when importing files there is no way of listening to the file your importing before hand, ANY SUGGESTIONS? ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED, THANKYOU!

Do you mean in the Audio Import window? This is common user error.
All Previews are routed to the Monitor 1 Bus. Open Devices > VST Connections > Studio. Enable Control Room, and Add Monitor 1 bus. Set the Device Port to the output, where you want to hear the signal. If you use the same output, you are using for the Stereo Out, make sure, the Stereo Out is set to Not Connected in the Outputs tab then.
