If you use the spiccato articulation in expression map (found in the menu of articulations), it doesn’t show up in the midi editor if you have selected attribute. So, if you are in the Key editor and you select a note and then choose articulation, there is no option of choosing spiccato in the drop down menu. The only way is to write it yourself as a custom text.
Interesting bug
I tried a bunch of variations. and noticed that some of the articulations get defaulted as “direction” and not “attribute”. Usually they are all “attribute”. In any case this meant some of them didn’t show up in the menu.
The really strange thing is that the Spiccato wasn’t set as direction but Col legno was. When I changed that one, they BOTH appeared in the menu.
So, I guess, problem solved?
