probably a coincidence, but after I installed a new video card, I got the No Valid License message for my Iconica Esembles, and Iconica Sections and PLayers.
It has been installed and working for several years. It still shows in the Library Manager and in Halion but all the patches now have the red “not” symbol.
They no longer show up in the Activation Manager (even after refresh) or in the download Assistant under My Products.
I tried putting the license code in the download assistant in the Redeem Code section and it wouldn’t accept the code.
Thanx all. Will do the Support thing. If it is a machine ID issue I’d be surprised as a GPU is a peripheral device. Alos, why only two licenses out of many? I’ll update post when I get a the fix.
The same thing can happen when a disk drive or network card is changed. Both of those are peripherals as well. It just depends what the licensing system uses to create the ID.
Have you logged on to your account and checked the status of those specific product licenses there?
So changing the GPU, harddrives, motherboards, etc.. can trigger licensing issues because the software links licenses to your hardware.
1- You can try to deactivate everything, sign out of the activation manager, close it, reopen it, sign back in and reactivate.
2-If the issue persist, you will need to remove anything that says its missing in the library manager and reinstall it via steinberg download assistant
…….
None of this did anything. Chatted with Steinberg. They did something (no info) I refreshed the Activation Manger and the product finally appeared in the list, Clicked “Activate” and all is well.
If asked if there was anything I could have done. He said no, then “Had to be replaced” whatever that meant.
Out several products in Activation Manage only my Iconic Opus had an issue.
