No valid license found

Hello everyone,

Maybe someone has a solution to the following. I would very much appreciate it.

My uncle has Cubase 8 a year ago and never registered it. After a year without any problems his Cubase stopped working and gave the message: No valid license found.
After that he tried to register his account, but for that he needs a dongle.

So my question is: If he just buys a dongle, will the problem be solved?

He just needs to enter his Soft-eLicenser number. It can be found in the eLicenser Control Center software, to the left.
