no variaudio button in sample window

Hello,
Until recently I never bothered with samples and sample editing, just composing with virtual instruments. Today I recorded a vocal and wanted to use variaudio in the sample editor but I cannot find the vari audio button as described in the manual. I am using Cubase Pro 9 so it should be included.

Can someone enlighten this newbie to sample editing?

Found it!!! it is the little button to hide/show left zone… these zones… i am not a big fan of them. Well, anyways. Hope this might help others who are looking as well.
