No VST sound during real-time export

Good Day Folks.

I was wondering if the following is normal.

During Audio Mixdown, with real-time export checked, I don’t hear sound from my VSTs. Everything is normal when I play the exported WAV file, the VSTs are present.

No problems with the VST sounds during normal playback, or real-time playing my keyboard through the VST.

Is there a switch I can turn on so I can hear the VSTs during export ?

That’s normal in Cubase Artist and lower.

To hear the real time export, you have to use the Control Room feature (Cubase Pro only). The Control Room gives you deeper control over how you can monitor your project, without making any changes to the project itself.
