No VST3 file in steinberg

Hello!

I installed Dorico 6 this afternoon and I have not had any luck getting sound. Currently, if I go to the play tab “e” icon I can see that HALion is installed and the concert grand piano shows up as an instrument. If i click any of the keys at the bottom, no sound plays and there is no visual audio level shown at the top either. In my files there is no VST3 folder. I think that may be the issue, but I am unsure where to find the download

Try re-applying a Playback Template (from the Play menu). That seems the accepted first step in diagnosing the problem

If that doesn’t work, create a Diagnostic Report from the Help menu and post it here; that should speed up any additional technical response.

You may need to poke around the Forum a bit before you have posting rights.

Or send the diagnostics straight to u dot stoermer at steinberg dot de.

Thanks for the data, @hpreischel

actually, most of sound library stuff got installed, but 2 items are missing:

EtudePresets.vstsound and SonicAtromsNaviaHarpFE.vstsound. I don’t know from which library the second one comes, but the first one is so obvious. So please go to the Download Asisstant and install again the Etude Elements package.

Then try the whole thing again (create a piano project, etc…
