hello everybody beginning on cubase elements 14 trial version while transport moving to the right in recording mode and singing in my mike (input signal visible) , no recording happens, no wave forms any ideas ?

Hi, can you please post a screenshot of this track with the Inspector opened on the left side? It’s important to see the routing. Do you use an audiointerface? Which OS and Cubase version are you on? The more details the more likely it is that we can help you.

You have to activate the Arm-Record button in your track (The circular one next to the Monitor button you’ve already activated). It should be red while recording.

yes arming. but the problem was coming at the next step, when starting the recording. I was pushing the triangle instead of the circle in the transport panel. it works now. thanks

I use whatever works. I like using the manuals as much as possible, but especially when I first started, it was often fruitless to search the manual if you didn’t know the correct terms for what you were looking for.
