noise at guitar sound UR28M

Dear friends,

I hear a strange noise after i pick a string of my guitar.
my set up is:
Fender Stratocaster through a Atlantis 1 echo unit then at line in 1 or 2 in the Steinberg UR28M. USB to my PC and as monitors i use Yamaha HS5.
The Atlantis is for the “Shadows” sound.
Sometimes i use a Zoom rfx2000 with the same results.

Always after one note i played i hear a noise, but with a few notes it’s really bad.
When i play without any effect and put the Stratocaster directl into the Steinberg there is no noise???

I use several amp simulation programs but all the same noise.

Has anyone the same issue?

What do you mean: “after one note i played i hear a noise, but with a few notes it’s really bad.” do you mean a string of notes or are you referring to pitches?
If you play your guitar directly into the sound card and have no problem, then connect something between your guitar and sound card and the problem shows up, I’d say with some confidence that the sound card is not the problem.
When you say “several amp simulation programs” do you mean that they all give the same noise regardless of amp model used, or might it be a high gain issue?
This would probably be easier to solve with some sound clips.
