Non C12 question: Will maintenance eLicenser program cause problems?

Hi -

As background: I have no desire to go near C12 Pro at the moment.

I’ve somehow gotten into the habit of double clicking on the eLicencer and asking it to run through its six steps before running C11 Pro, i can’t remember why (maybe it was recommended when there were other problems some years ago?).

Now I’m concerned that if i do that, Cubase may think i want to upgrade to C12 now, so it will phone home to Steinberg, and somehow mess up my ability to use my C11 Pro.

Should i stop double clicking on the eLicencer and asking it to run through its six steps before running C11 Pro, or is that an unfounded concern?

If the latter - Is there any advantage to double clicking on the eLicencer and asking it to run through its six steps before running C11 Pro?

Well, it increases the load on the server by a miniscule amount
