Noob Help - Grove Agent SE 01

Hello Cubaser’s,

For the life of me I cannot seem to find the right lingo to describe my issue. I’m following a tutorial (steinberg approved) for creating dubstep in Cubase. The issue, the tutorial is in Cubase 5 and i’m running 8.5, it’s driving me insane!

The link contains is a picture of what the instructor did in Cubase 5.0; how the heck do I get ‘track lanes’ to ‘enable instrument outputs, or groups’ in Cubase 8.5 (Sorry, no idea how to describe this problem)

I think I may have stumbled into my solution. “Show Automatons Lanes” has mirrored that of the instructors cubase track lanes. I am going to see if I can produce the results he did and will report back with a final update.

So it appears that was not the answer I was looking for.

I want to group certain pads on Grove Agent SE 01 to their own track lanes that I can add compressors etc to individually with different levels. How do I group sets of pads, and have the groups 1-X appear on the track lanes?
