Noob question

Hi
i just watched a great video of aguy working for adam audio, demonstrating Fixing Phase Rotation.
unfortunatly he was using Izotope Rx
it has a feature where it detects phase rotaion (selected or whole file) then can render after the detection.
as i am new to wavelab (12-pro) and still learning how to use it ,i cant find something similar , i have no idea if wavelab has such a thing or i am just looking for the wrong thing or the wrong place.
Cheers guys
T.

ps if may post the link so you can see what i am talking about

if this breaks comunity rules , then please remove link and sorry on my behalf

Short and sweet:
WaveLab only has phase inversion (180° flip), no continuous phase rotation via all-pass as with dedicated phase tools—it doesn’t offer “smart” phase rotation like RX Phase at the touch of a button. For real rotation, you need a plugin like Voxengo PHA‑979.

WaveLab currently does not have such a tool. But be aware that this is not a miracle treatment.
It alters the waveform shape and can subtly affect punch, attack, or musical feel. Stereo image may be impacted, and benefits are sometimes more technical than audible. It often acts as a compensatory fix to gain 1 or 2 dB rather than addressing the root cause.

Thanks guys
yeah i kind of get the root problem bit and i almost get the technical side of it also.
i just stumbled upon this because its apart of my Audio engineering diploma study what i am doing.
i had brought wave lab a while ago (V12-pro) to do some mastering of an album i recorded for some friends of mine nothing to complex just red book compiling and eq+ final volumes.. and unfortunately have not looked at it since , although i plan to do a deep dive later as now i have more time and no doubt will be binificial in the mastering section of my study ..
i wont be buying RX or any other vst just because of that however i still find it an attractive tool to have
who knows if i start making money from mastering (not my ambition but you never know) i may well look into this further on down the line.

as far as recording i check via various scopes and analyzer’s the signal as it goes in, also in the editing stages i always check phase issues so that whoever mixes the project (usually me lol ) will not have to waste time with that, thus saving time/money
although this is my workflow ,it is however very limited to my depth of understanding in the subject and i will of course be prone to mistakes and or oversights compared to the professionals in this field
hence the study in Audio engineering
anything that helps in a workflow like that feature in RX is welcome in my workplace , if it means i dont have to spend hours and hours finding where and when ..the phase issues occur ,

Thanks guys
