Normalize blanks out the audio clip

Just got C 14 on a MacBook Air. When I try to normalize a given clip it replaces it with a completely blank clip. I’m not sure whether I’m missing a step.

Can you show us the normalise settings and the event before and after you did it.

Does it sound blank or just look blank. If it’s the visual you probably have the Wave Magnification set too high.
