Slightly Off-Topic …
How can I normalize an audio file so it is @ (say -8 dB TP) .
Normalize = bring back the current loudness so that that the loudest peak = @ -8dB TP.
Without touching the dynamics or whatever…
Thanks

This can be done destructively in the Audio Editor or non-destructively in the Audio Montage using the Meta-Normalizer.
It is my understanding that the -23 LUFS will be applied.
This spec (-8dB TP) is coming from a Radio Broadcaster, which has nothing to do with R128.
So I need an TP normalizer, anda TP normalizer only.
(I know it’s a strange spec , but broadcasters are going nuts these days …)
Thanks

Aha!!!
Let me try that.
Thanks!
