I am creating a file with a lot of short flows. I have set it up with 59 flows, currently having entered music in flows up through 32.
However when I enter Engrave Mode or Print Mode I can only see up through Flow 29.
In print mode I have selected “All” for the flows to print. I don’t see a similar option in Engrave mode so I assume that they should all be visible and adjustable.
When I am in Write Mode using Galley View I can see all the flows. If I switch to Page View I can only see through Flow 29 (Page 32).
I have exited Dorico completely and restarted it and get the same results.
Thank you in advance for any help you can offer. I’m willing to zip up the project file and upload it if you think it will help.
Found it: in the Default page template, you have only a subset of flows up until #29 to be displayed in the main Frame chain. I also see that the First template uses frame chain MQ, and Default uses MR. Maybe better to give them the same one.
Edit to add: I can see why you thought you needed different frame chains. You also deselected flow 1 from the MR chain on the Default page, otherwise that flow would appear twice in your score. You don’t need to. Simply use the same frame chain on the First and Default pages. Dorico will take care of well, chaining them together.

I very much appreciate that you took the time to solve my problem – I could not think of what my problem would be called nor what to do about it.
I had no idea why page 1 started to appear twice and I’m still not sure how I got the frame chain to change and to remove flow 1 from one of them.
But your explanation about making sure to use the same frame chain for both the First Page and Default Page templates makes sense. Now to figure out why there are two of them (MR and MQ).
