Not able to update

When I try to update Wavelab I get this message:

Wavelab Pro 11 update failed.
The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it.
Error code 1612.

I’m not even able to uninstall. I’ve tried installing through both a download and the installer.

Any ideas?

reboot and try again (and download again).

Normally, this message 1612 is from the Windows installer that is missing something (Error code 1612. - Google Search)

Anyway, you could try to install it on another computer and, later, copy the WaveLab folder from one computer to the other.

That advice was helpful.

I reinstalled Windows, choosing the option to keep all apps, and that did the trick. Apparently something was corrupted or missing in Windows.
