Not new, but help with a solved issue on creating upbeat

I had help getting additional measure at the start of a project. Unfortunately, when I tried to repeat this effort with the most current file, it did not respond the same way. The first screenshot is of a previous file. This is the result I want. When I did the same thing with the current screenshot, I got the second screenshot. Sorry about the next two shots. I can’t seem to delete them.

Hi,
From what I understand from your screenshots, it looks like this is what you’re trying to do — but I might be wrong!

I use Insert Mode with Global Scope to shift everything to the right at once. Note that in the second step, the rhythmic grid is set to eighth notes, and after that step I turn off Insert Mode.
