Not responding to MIDI until computer restart

Been having this issue since the release. Half of the time when I open a project Cubase will not respond to any MIDI input device or keyboard controllers. And the only way I’m able to get it to respond to MIDI again is to restart my computer.

On windows 10 64 bit. Latest version of Cubase Pro 9.

I have the same problem. Does anybody have a solution?

I had the same issue with my old master keyboard CME UF8 connected via USB, and I solved it by turning on the midi device before turning on the computer. Hope it helps!
