each time I load Cubase 10 I need to configure my audio settings.its not remembering what my inputs/outputs were.
its even happening in old projects I load or templates each time I have to do it.
if I load up Cubase 9.5 then that’s ok but Cubase 10 its not.
anyone else having this?
Try deleting all I/O busses, restart Cubase and add them again.
I don’t have this issue in CB10 but, I did in a previous version and this fixed it. Fingers crossed for you.

It’s not happening every time but it is happening intermittently. I’ll try Prock’s suggestion and see if that helps.
That didn’t do it. Now consistently dropping my outputs.
Having the same problem. I have CB 10 and I had this problem with CB9 also.

I’m having the same issue with Cubase Pro 10.0.40.
Cubase 12 and this is happening to me. This feels like a necropost, but man, how can this still be an issue?
I only encounter this when Cubase needs to switch the ASIO device, e.g. when my audio interface is not connected. 12.0.4
I also saved everything as a preset for easy recall.
