[NOT SOLVED] Retrospective record - wrong note length

1 Activate retrospective record in prefs
2 Hit play and play some notes on selected midi track
3 Hit Retrospective record hotkeys

RESULT: All notes length are wrong. Every note sounds till the end of a clip.
Confirm please.

UPD: IT HAPPENS ONLY WHEN RECORDING BEFORE OR IN LOOP SELECTION

Win7 64bit
Cubase 6.5.1
Core i7 8gig

SOLUTION: Switch “Use system timestamp…” in device setup dialog in midi port setup.

i experimented

if i play after blue loop selection region it paste note normally… :cry:

Same as Denis here, absolutely no problem, regardless if I use it in a loop or in front of a loop.

I’m also having this problem checking the box suggested in midi options did not solve it. Like the OP, I notice this is only happening when retrospective record is triggered inside the loop region.

Does anyone have any solutions / ideas why? Quite annoying to have such a handy feature no longer work.

Hyper, what midi controller do you have? I discovered that this weird behaviour doesnt work with Novation Remote SL but it is there when i use Axiom 49… AND i still have it even with option checked. Record works well but retrospective record gives wrong notes length… i suppose that somehow NOTE OFF messages are ommited.
