Notation and tablature barline join

Sometimes I write guitar music with tablature under the notation .
Is it possible to join the barlines on the notation and tablature ?

Do you mean you want the barline to go through both staves with no break in the middle? For me it is automatic.

Yes ,when I write for duo/trio etc it the barlines join automatically , but with guitar and tab it isnt
Maybe because it is one instrument

Select the upper and lower barline then in Engrave Mode click the bracket.

…or the barline icon (in the same lower left panel), if you don’t want do affect the bracketing

Yes Bill this works , thank you , did not see this menu . I was looking in the engraving options (ctrl shift e )
