Notation For Violin

Hello, how do I do this kind of notation?

IMG_20260727_231053

How do I do the tail thing at the end?

Tia!

What does the tail thing mean?

Idk, but i think its a vibrato,

…or wiggling with the tuning peg

To answer the first part of the question:
Create a horizontal line with start and end point notehead, and in the properties change the text to gliss. scord. and Text position above

I think gliss scord means move the tuning peg and the wiggle at the end means wiggle the tuning peg.

With an Horizontal line?

Dorico file example?:

wiggely line.dorico (1.3 MB)

Thanks, that could get the work done. But i was just hoping to get the same style as in the pic? Is it possible?

Tia

Thanks! Also, is there a way to change the text size? Its so big

Yes is possible to edit and customise the line, possibly using custom SVG graphics created in a vector app. Can you share a better defined screenshot to see what is exactly the form of your line?

You can use a repeatable symbols line.

A bit large here.

Yoo how did u do that?

Yes, you need to create a new line, in the Editor window duplicate Solid Line, go to Line Annotation Editor, there select Text category in the side bar , create a new text gliss. scord. and select an appropriate font style for example Fingering Italic Text Font. Then go back to the Line Editor window select Center Annotation and the created text annotation, Vertical position Above

Thanks!

Thank you

Is this your custom notation for tuning down below a violin’s forth G string capability?

Nope, i just found it in Stille Nacht by Alfred Schnittke music sheet, and i was hoping if i could also get the same notation style
