- When I solo the bottom note, it is very quiet, which is what I’m wanting. But when I unsolo it and play both notes at once, the loudness is the same as before I reduced the volume of the bottom note.
- Is the note expression data not meant to be showing on the note itself rather than below it?
- I can only draw a horizontal line rather than shape it in other ways. How do I change this? I’ve turned off snap.
Hi,
If you Solo Editor, you go through the Preview signal path. To adjust this, you have to open MediaBay, select any Audio file; you will find the Preview, where you can adjust the Preview Velocity.
The behavior is very same as it is in Cubase 14.
You have the One-Shot Mode enabled (the left-top corner).
Thanks. That solves questions 2 and 3 for me. But I don’t understand question 1 still. The editor is not solo.
E.g. in this photo I have volume note expression reduced a lot for the bottom note only. But if I play both notes at once, the note expression is affecting both notes. If I mute the bottom note, the top note sounds loud again.
Hi,
Where do you send the MIDI data to? Do you send it to an Instrument (an Instrument Track) or to hardware?
I use instrument tracks with Halion.
Hi,
Which parameter exactly do you control? Would you mind sharing the test project (just 1 track with these 2 notes), please?
