I am on a Mac, Dorico 6, and have selected every option I can find under “notation options” and still can’t make the tied quarters show as halfs…
Maybe I am missing the one combination in notation options to do this?

By default, Dorico groups 6/4 as 3+3, which is standard.
- If you always want your music grouped 2+2+2, then consider changing the meter to 3/2
- If your music alternates bars of 6/4 and 3/2, then consider an alternating time signature
- If you have several bars in a row where you want this grouping, you can enter a time signature of
[2+2+2]/4and then hide it (and add a hidden `6/4 when you want to return to 3+3) - If you only have this rhythm occasionally, then you can use Force Duration to get it

Thanks…I knew I could do force duration, but I thought one of the notation options could get me there.
