Note grouping problem

Need help deciding what I’ve done wrong. I want a half note as in ms 1 (see below), but it comes out looking like ms 2, unless i go through the heroics of Force Duration, etc.

I see that you’re using v5.1.50. I believe this is a bug which was fixed in one of the later maintenance releases for v5. When I open your file in v5.1.81, I get:

I suggest that you update to the latest version of v5. (That’s free, but the upgrade to v6 is not.)
