Note Performer mis-interprets slurs (sometimes)

See the attached graphic. I want to have a dotted slur during the crescendo to indicate no breath. Unfortunately this messes up Note Performer. The upper line plays as one would expect. The lower line plays mm 38-39 as if there is no slur.

It is a shame because the appearance is exactly what I want. I guess I can fake this out using an l.v. mark, but that will require tedious editing in ENGRAVE mode.

Try selecting the dotted slur and setting the ‘Suppress playback’ property.

That works brilliantly.

It does seem that NP should interpret the slurs better, so I hope this will be improved in due course.
