Does Note Performer ever have a summer sale or anything like that?
Noteperformer never has any sales. It’s so dirt cheap, that sales wouldn’t make any business sense.
Don’t forget you can also buy NotePerformer on a “rent to own” basis, paying a small monthly fee until you’ve paid the full purchase price. There’s no additional cost to you of taking the “rent to own” route.
I completely disagree with this statement.
Sales are the main reason I moved from Pro Tools to Cubase Pro and Dorico Pro. Without those sales I probably wouldn’t have made the jump. Now I am a lifelong user.
Don’t underestimate the impact of sales.
I think what Nickie means is that given the unique business model Arne follows, sales wouldn’t make much sense for him. Unlike most other products in our industry, Arne has always made major version upgrades for NotePerformer free. So the $129 you pay to board the NotePerformer train is – unless Arne should choose to change his business model in future, which of course is his right – the only money you will spend on this invaluable product.
Precisely. Arne has long ago stated publicly that he doesn’t do sales.
Arne Wallander on VI-Control:
We don’t do sales, unfortunately. Our pricing strategy was always "as low as we can go” and to not make the purchase planning process any more difficult.
This was exactly the route I took when I didn’t have much money to spare several years and it was well worth it. Noteperformer is ridiculously cheap for what you get.
