note positions different in imported midi files from Cubase Atari

Hi there,

Congratulations for this very useful forum.

This is my question:

I created with an old version of Cubase (Cubase score ATARI with dongle) many files.

When I open these files (midi files) in my version of Cubase 8.5 (The Artist) I see that all notes or events are perfectly fixed as in the original midi files (and it works perfectly) but the numbering of the position of notes or events is not the same (except for this type of position 1.1.0 or 1.2.0 etc because there are only 3 numbers)

(The numbering of the position of notes or events in my old versions works like that : 1.1.0 to 1.1.383 then it’s 1.2.0 to 1.2.383 then it’s 1.3.0, there are not 4 numbers like for example 1.2.5.51 …

I met the same problem in Cubase SE for PC etc…

Is it possible to have the same numbering of the position of notes or events as in my old version of cubase?

Unfortunately not. The Bars+Beats view using the 4 digits system.
