Note space, after hiding rest too small One note two stems

hi,
after hiding rests in a guitar piece: many voices in one system -the space between the notes, where I hide the rest - via start or end voice trick gets too small-
Another question in the same context, I can’t find a hint: is it possible to put two stems on one note, as its commonly used in guitar notation.

There might be a preference setting that overrides this, but I doubt it. (Sorry I don’t know for sure.)

There’s a preference setting for nearly everything (Daniel said somewhere there are about 400 of them…)

Go to Notation Options in the Write menu, and look at the bottom of the Voices category:

Please use advanced search. Here I wrote +dorico +stems (the + is to tell the search engine to catch all answers with both words). There is no use in answering too many times the same question
