Note stacking appearance

When attempting to reproduce an “Old world” style of notation, I’ve come to this group to find if there is a setting I missing to make it happen automatically. The first illustration is the default in Doric0 6.X:

The second is what I want to have it look like:

To make it look like this, the following steps were taken:

  1. Voice 1 is the B-D-G and Voice 2 is the F.
  2. Remove the stems on Voice 2
  3. Change the Voice 2 index to be right of the stem
  4. Move Voice 2 to edge it close to the stem.
  5. Add the ties.
  6. (And in one instance, if you have lots of accidentals, you need to move them around).

Is there a setting I am missing?

Thanks in advance,

Can you upload a picture of what you’re trying to do?

This one, maybe?

It’s not the tie, but what side the notes appear on the stem, if that helps clarify it. Also, I did place illustrations in here, but they might not be showing up? (please advise).

Sorry, I misread your post!

I don’t think there’s another way than yours to achieve it, but I could be wrong…

Here is a better example of the default and using my previous steps to accomplish what I wanted it to look like:

Thanks. Good to know we have “work arounds” for system limitations and options.
