Hi there, I’m guessing that this is my problem and I just dont know how to fix.
Im working on a project where I’ll be changing normal noteheads to harmonics a lot manually, so I wanted to create a shortcut, but for some reason it aint working.
In key command under Edit, notehead set and white diamond noteheads I created a shorcut and a jumpbar Alias, but neither is working. I just press them and nothing happens.

I’m not sure why the key command isn’t working for you – I’m able to set a key command for that and use it successfully. I suspect that the jump bar alias wouldn’t work because that command doesn’t actually exist in the jump bar.
But is there a reason that you’re changing the notehead directly instead of using the harmonic functionality that was added to the playing techniques popover in v6.2? It looks like this hasn’t been added to the online help yet, but you can read about it in the 6.2 version history PDF.
The advantage to using the popover or the Properties panel is that your harmonics will play back correctly.
Yeah im using the popover a lot, its just Im writing a piece with a lot of harmonics and in some cases i want a harmonic trill. In many scores I have seen this technique is written with a trill only. The other way to write this is with a tremolo (for playback) but for the score the trill is cleaner.
In the first measure you can see the harm. trill.
Im trying to achieve the same notation, so im changing the noteheads of the second note from normal to diamond. Either way the key command isnt working for normal notes.
