Would love to have a notepad feature like logic to write lyrics and potentially add mood board images that save inside of your project file. Would take a lot of time away from writing stuff down in my notes app on my phone and losing track of where all my lyrics are over time.
Cubase does have a notepad
But it is only text based. When I want to save an image, I just put it in the Project’s folder. This works fine if you are following the golden rule for Cubase Projects - every project gets its own unique folder.
It would be nice if they added pics to the Notepad.
Also there is a Notepad for the Project & each Track has its own Notepad too.
Good idea, but i use Google Docs for my lyrics. Besides each track has a rudimentary text editor.
In the meantime, there’s a free 3rd party VST3 plugin which can do that - if you are interested I’ll find out its name.
Nonetheless, it’s not a real solution since it’s yet another plugin blocking a precious insert slot. Anyhow, I thought I let you know.
I would be interested in knowing this plugin.
Would be nice to be able to add pictures directly in that project of outboard gear settings or mic positions and that sort of thing.
