I posted this arrangement some time ago using NPPEs. I have always liked NP’s brass, and the latest update has made them even better IMO. I like the new horn sample; it plays an important role in this work.
This is done entirely using NP 5.1.0 with (as Arne let us know is needed) some NP reverb and just a smidge of Steinberg’s RoomWorks SE. I’m impressed. This is on par with results I was able to get from NP 5.0 with the BBCSO and PRIME engines. Quite impressive for what is essentially a ‘Gary-proof’ plug-and play sample library for Dorico.
