VSL Synchron Prime is a good way to go, and I would recommend it. But I would also say that I wouldn’t necessarily consider Synchron Prime to be an end but a starting point (as the name Prime suggests). It is a value bundle of light versions of some of the main libraries with upgrade pricing to the main versions. Synchron Prime does not have some articulations you may find you want depending on what you are doing. It also doesn’t have quite the agility of the main libraries because it lacks the agile legato.

Ah, makes perfect sense. Knowing me, I wouldn’t be happy with VSL Synchron Prime, then. I’m now considering main libraries. Thanks for sharing your perspective on this, Michael.
