After applying NP playback template to my big band project the bass drum is now mapped to the alto sax. Why is this happening and how to fix?
Just the standard playback template? Which version of NP?
If you want to upload a small project I can try it on my end but I only have NP 4.

Please check that the Percussion Map of the Percussion Kit is set to NP Drum Set rather than NP Orchestral Percussion.
My workaround: I created a second drum set instrument and cut and pasted the notes from old drum set to new drum set instrument. That fixed the drum mapping issue. Percussion/change Voice to fix beaming.
