Noteperformer & Mixer in Dorico

Hello

If I use Noteperformer 3 in Dorico, I just see 1 (the first) Channel in the Dorico Mixer… But I would like to see every instrument I use. (i.e. With Halion 6 I see all channels directly…)

What could be the reason for this?

Thanks for your answers!

Noteperformer uses its own mixer, which you can access here:

I assume it’s because Noteperformer performs some internal computations in its own engine to give a “smarter” playback. There’s not a way to get these individual instrument channels to display on the main mixer.

Dear Dan

Thank you for your quick answer! Ok…

Another question: Is it possible to hide the empty channels in Dorico Mixer? (If I use Halion 6 about 32 channels open…)

Thanks for your help!

I think so, yes. Click on the cog icon to edit the endpoint setup. I say “I think” because I’m not at my computer and haven’t tried it…

… Unfortunately I don’t see a cog icon in Dorico Mixer…

No, same place as the previous picture I posted.

Once you open the endpoint configuration - set the number of audio output channel to 1 if that is what what you want - or however many.

… ah! Now I understand! Great! Thank you so much!!!
